The Confederation of Passenger Transport UK (CPT) is the national trade association representing UK bus, coach, light rail and metro operators. Suppliers of goods and services to the industry are also able to become members.

CPT is the voice of the passenger transport industry and is officially recognised by the government. It is also the principal consultative body on national, local and EU legislative and regulatory matters.

It is the industry main link with the media and is regularly approached for opinions and facts about the industry.
